Dr. Brett Qualls, PT, DPT, OCS
Brett is originally from the north coast of California, and has been living and working in Lake Havasu City since 2011. Brett received his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of the Pacific.Brett was recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedics by the American Physical Therapy Association and American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Brett also holds a Certification in Dry Needling.
Brett’s clinical interests are broad and include sports medicine, general orthopedic rehab, movement analysis, and senior wellness. Brett enjoys clinical problem solving and excels at explaining movement systems and educating his patients on musculoskeletal pathology.
In his free time, Brett enjoys snowboarding, road biking, hiking, spending time with family & friends, and travel.
Dr. Mandy Shoemaker PT, DPT
Mandy was born in Southern California but moved Lake Havasu City with her family in 2002. She attended Lake Havasu High School before attending Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology in 2012. She then received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in 2018. Mandy’s interest in physical therapy began in high school after using physical therapy to rehabilitate from numerous sport-related injuries throughout her softball career. With her experience as a patient and now a clinician, she believes she can create a great team approach and positive atmosphere to promote healing. She enjoys working with orthopedic and pediatric populations.
In her free time, you will find Mandy exploring nature with hiking, days at the beach, or off-roading. She also enjoys traveling, making crafts, watching sports, spending time with her boyfriend, family, and friends. Mandy also enjoys finding ways to give back to her community.
Kylee Curtis, PTA
Kylee grew up in beautiful Lake Havasu City and attended Lake Havasu High School. Kylee then moved onto Mohave Community College to pursue her interests in physical therapy. She graduated from Mohave Community College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2011. Kylee’s interest in physical therapy was sparked with watching her younger sister go through a series of knee injuries and countless hours of rehab. Kylee has found her niche in outpatient orthopedic therapy. She has been working alongside Brett as his assistant since she started her career as a PTA in 2011.
In her spare time, you can find Kylee enjoying many of Havasu’s great outdoor amenities. She enjoys boating, hiking, off-roading, and traveling. Kylee is an active member in multiple non-profit organizations and enjoys being able to give back to her community. Her most cherished time is spent with her husband, Dalton, and their dog, Piper.
Ronni Jackson, PTA
Ronni was born in southern California and moved to Lake Havasu City in 2000. She grew up visiting her grandparents in Lake Havasu City, as they are long term residents. After high school, Ronni attended Northern Arizona University with an interest in business marketing. She quickly decided she wanted to be in the healthcare field and had a desire help people. Upon moving home, Ronni continued her education with courses at Mohave Community College and found the Physical Therapy Assistant program. Graduating in 2012, she has been working in outpatient physical therapy since that time. Her interests clinical include post-operative rehab, pediatrics and general wellness. Ronni has worked alongside Brett since 2012.
Ronni loves to spend time with her family, camping and grew up playing on the lake & desert. She and her spouse Brandon stay busy with their two children Aubrey & Roman.
Jinica Torrez, Physical Therapy Technician
Jinica is originally from the central coast of California, and has been living in Lake Havasu City since 2015. Before joining the team at Agave Physical Therapy, Jinica worked in the veterinary care world. Jinica received her Associates degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management from Moorpark College in California, and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 10 years of experience. Jinica is looking forward to pursuing her interests in personal health care and human movement. Jinica has recently become a certified yoga instructor and enjoys sharing her passion of healing through movement with others.
Jinica enjoys spending her free time at the gym or yoga studio. She also enjoys getting out for a good bike ride, hike or run outdoors. Jinica is a member of the Havasu Gold Seekers Club and spends time wondering the desert searching for gold and gems with her boyfriend Kenny. Being from the California coast, she is a water junkie and can often be found swimming in the lake or her pool.
Arianne Stacy, Front Desk
Arianne moved to Lake Havasu City in 1984 from Boulder Colorado. She is a 1993 graduate of Lake Havasu High School. Before joining the team at Agave Physical Therapy, Arianne previously worked in the hotel & hospitality industry for over 20 years. She held positions in a variety of departments and was most recently the sales and catering manager at a local resort. She is excited to grown in a new career path at Agave Physical Therapy.
Arianne enjoys spending time with her husband Beau and her two sons Justin & Zack. They enjoy spending time in the beautiful outdoors in Lake Havasu City, especially time out on the lake.
